Language Placement Testing
Seton Hall > News & Events

Student on a laptopIn preparation for summer and fall registration, the Language Resource Center offers language placement tests in Fahy Hall 202.

Do you need to take a test?
If you are planning to study a language that you already know (due to courses in high school, another university, or social contact) you need to take a placement test prior to registering for a class.

Do not take a placement test if:

  • you plan to study a new language
  • you already took a placement test (email the LRC lrc@shu.edu to find out your result if you don't know)
  • you are currently enrolled in a language course at SHU, and are continuing to the next course in the sequence

To take a test, email lrc@shu.edu with your name, language, and date/time you are available.

Dates and times are Wednesday, March 13 to Friday, March 15 and Monday, March 18 to Wednesday, March 20 between 9:30 and 5:30 p.m. each day. You'll recieve a confirmation message with additional information.
