University of Advancement Announces New Leadership in Development

Brigette A. BryantThe Division of University Advancement recently welcomed Brigette A. Bryant as Seton Hall's new Associate Vice President for Development. In this role, Brigette will be leading a team of planned, annual and major gifts officers; an advancement services group, which includes donor relations, stewardship, prospect management and research; and a team of administrative professionals. Her primary focus will be working on increasing the level of support for Seton Hall University, its students, faculty, schools and special programs.

Brigette comes to Seton Hall from Tufts University in Medford, MA, where she served as senior director of development for the School of Arts and Sciences. In that role, Brigette was responsible for the leadership of a staff of 17 and had oversight and responsibility for raising nearly $30 million annually. Brigette and her team were key contributors to Tufts' successful $1.2 billion capital campaign which concluded recently.

Prior to joining Tufts University, Brigette held chief development roles at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, the School of International Relations at Columbia University, and the College of Arts and Sciences at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Her first jobs in development were with Dance Theatre of Harlem, Liberty Science Center and New Jersey Institute of Technology.

A native New Yorker and graduate of Berklee College of Music, Brigette and her husband of almost 25 years are pleased to be back in New Jersey.
