Beck Researcher AwardCongratulations to the inaugural recipients of the Stillman School’s Beck Researcher Award:

  • Daniel Ladik, Ph.D. - Associate Professor, Marketing
  • Gemma Lee, Ph.D. - Assistant Professor, Finance
  • Elizabeth McCrea, Ph.D. - Assistant Professor, Management
  • Kurt Rotthoff, Ph.D. - Assistant Professor, Economics and Legal Studies

The four were selected because of their outstanding contributions in research while also exceeding expectations in their work in teaching and service.

The award results from a $1 million gift presented to the Stillman School by the trustees of the Elsie E. and Joseph W. Beck Memorial Fund of the Community Foundation of New Jersey to establish the Elsie E. and Joseph W. Beck Memorial Scholarship and Research Fund. The fund, which will be distributed over the next 20 years, was created with the objective of supporting both undergraduate business students with demonstrated financial need and outstanding Stillman faculty researchers.

The four recipients will be recognized at the Stillman School’s Integrity and Professionalism Scholarship Luncheon on March 20.
