The Inner Circle
Seton Hall > News & Events

Inner CircleThursday, April 4th, 2013, in Fahy 236, at 6 p.m., Slavic Club and The SHU Film Society are showing a great movie, The Inner Circle.

Made in 1991, The Inner Circle takes place in the middle of Stalinist Russia, when Ivan Sanshin (Academy Award nominee Tom Hulce, 1984, Best Actor, Amadeus) is preparing for his wedding night when the KGB shows up and takes him away. Ivan is brought in to be Stalin’s personal film projectionist and becomes a part of his inner circle, witnessing the ruler’s actions and decisions. Also starring Academy Award nominee Bob Hoskins (1986, Best Actor, Mona Lisa) and Lolita Davidovich (Blaze), THE INNER CIRCLE is a powerful tale based on the true story of a man’s loyalty to a ruthless dictator despite the chaos that surrounds him.

Everyone is welcome!
Slavic food will be served.
