Holy Hour Service For Pope Benedict

Religous cross held by PriestThe University community is invited to participate in a Holy Hour Service for the Church, for Pope Benedict XVI and for the next Pope on Thursday, February 28th at 2 p.m. (Roman time 8 p.m.) This symbolizes the time that the Pope steps down from the Petrine Office.

A time for prayer, meditation, and reflection, Holy Hour will take place at the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception of Seton Hall University. Holy Hour is sponsored by the Campus Ministry, in collaboration with FOCUS – Fellowship of Catholic University Students; SPO – St. Paul’s Outreach; CSJ – Community of St. John; and SDB – Salesians of Don Bosco. Reverend Monsignor Robert J. Wister, Hist.Eccl.D, professor of Church History, will be the homilist and Father Stanley Gomes, director of the Campus Ministry, will be the Presider.
