Chesterton Conference in Colombia

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. -- February 20, 2013 --- The G. K. Chesterton Institute for Faith and Culture is proud to announce that in Colombia, the first Chestertonian conference is being organized and co-sponsored by the Department of Philosophy and Human Sciences of the Universidad de La Sabana in Bogota. The speakers: Fr. Ian Boyd, C.S.B. and Dr. Dermot Quinn will lecture on the subject of "Chesterton and Orthodoxy."

Gilbert Keith Chesterton, (1874 – 1936) was an English writer. His prolific and diverse output included philosophy, ontology, poetry, plays, journalism, public lectures and debates, literary and art criticism, biography, Christian apologetics and fiction. Chesterton has been called the "prince of paradox."

The conferences are free and open to the public.
