Beth LeechOccupy Wall Street? The Tea Party? The National Rifle Association? As a part of the SHU Distinguished Lecture series, on Tuesday February 19 (12:30-1:45 p.m. in the Faculty Lounge) Dr. Beth Leech, Professor of Political Science, Rutgers University, will speak about “Interest Groups, Social Movements, and Public Policy”. 

At Rutgers, Professor Leech teaches classes on interest groups, mass media and politics, citizen activism, and research methods. She is the co-author of Lobbying and Policy Change: Who Wins, Who Loses, and Why and Basic Interests: The Importance of Groups in Politics and Political Science.
