IT Winter Break Maintenance

The annual winter IT maintenance period will take place over the winter break. The maintenance will begin on Wednesday, December 26 at 8:45 a.m. and will end Sunday, January 13 at 7 a.m. University IT Services will make their best effort to alert the community before a system is taken off line for maintenance; however, during this period IT systems may be off line for maintenance unexpectedly and with little advance warning.
 
An upgrade to the data center storage network is planned during the maintenance period. All systems except for the University Web site and the Blackboard Learning System will be affected by this planned maintenance. Each affected system will be offline for about twelve hours as the storage for each system is upgraded. Different systems will be scheduled for different days during the maintenance period, so most systems will be available most days, but some systems will be off line each day during the maintenance period.
