Marketing U/2 is the 2nd annual, one-day workshop on all things Marketing.
Marketing U/2 takes place on Friday, November 9 from 9:15 AM – 3PM in the ITV Room, located on the 1st floor of the Walsh Library. Sponsored by Seton Hall’s Public Relations and Marketing Department, this hands-on seminar aims to de-mystify marketing processes at the University.
Marketing U/2 is open to anyone at Seton Hall who would like to learn about how public relations and marketing works and what you can do to improve the outreach and promotion for your school, program and activities.
Drop in for a session or two, or stay for the entire day.
9:15 – 10 am. Working with PR&M
This session will provide answers to your general questions about collaborating with PR&M to develop and implement successful marketing campaigns.
10 am – 11:00am Photography
Are you interested in accessing our amazing photo collection, scheduling a photo shoot, hiring a freelancer, or getting some tips on what’s involved in taking or selecting a terrific image? Come discover all that’s happening photographically at Seton Hall.
11:00am – Noon Web and Social Media
Learn to create news stories for the SHU Web site, submit videos, update program information, post calendar events, and more on our new, improved Web site and social media channels.
Noon – 1pm Lunch break
1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Media Relations
What does it mean to be a “faculty expert?” How do you create and distribute press releases? Gain lots of practical tips for working with the media, tapping internal media resources, and collaborating with our terrific media relations team.
2 p.m. – 3 p.m. Publications and Advertising
Everything you need to know about working with the publications team to create invitations, ads, and brochures for your programs.
