25Live Launches on Monday, September 24!

This fall, the University welcomed the largest Freshman class in the University’s history. More students will mean more classes, and more classes will mean that spaces will be at a premium. To help the University community manage the use of University spaces, the current R25 scheduling system has been upgraded to 25Live.

25Live is Seton Hall’s new web-based calendaring and scheduling solution. Built on the latest Web 2.0 technologies and standards, community concepts, and data sharing capabilities, 25Live enables users to view event information and request the use of University space 24 hours a day, seven days a week from any computer connected to the Internet. Faculty, Staff and Administrators will be able to access the 25Live system by entering their PirateNet credentials on the Log In page. The 25Live scheduling system has a more user-friendly appearance, allowing for customization of commonly used requests.
 
In order to ease this transition, the 25Live team enhanced the Reservations Center webpage with documentation for step by step instructions when creating event requests, a list of FAQs, and other resources to help users become acquainted with the new system.
 
As with any new application, it will take time to become familiar with 25Live. Demonstrations of the new system will be offered in the University Center Faculty Lounge as follows:

  • Wednesday, September 26, 11a.m. - noon
  • Thursday, September 27, 2:30 - 3:30p.m.
  • Friday, September 28 11 a.m. - noon
  • Wednesday, October 3, 2:30 - 3:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, October 4, 11 a.m. - noon
  • Friday, October 5, 11 a.m. - noon
Support is readily available, both from the website and from the schedulers whose names are below. These schedulers review the requests and confirm the spaces and resources involved with scheduling non-class events and they will happily offer one-on-one assistance and telephone support.

Please note: No space assignment for any classroom/academic space  can be confirmed for the Spring 2013 semester (January 14 – May 20) until all courses have classroom assignments.
