Seton Hall University College of Nursing Ph.D. student, Maria Torchia
LoGrippo, M.S.N., R.N., is one of ten New Jersey Nursing Scholars
enrolled at SHU whose education is funded through the Robert Wood
Johnson Foundation (RWJF) New Jersey Nurse Initiative (NJNI). The
objective of NJNI is to increase the diversity and volume of nursing
faculty throughout the state.
Maria is in the final phase of the Ph.D. in Nursing Research program,
with an anticipated completion date of May 2013. Her dissertation
research topic is: The Relationship of Trust and Prenatal Stress Among
Pregnant Women Receiving Care from a Certified Nurse Midwife.
