The Stillman School Announce Two New Scholarships For Incoming Freshmen
The Stillman School of Business is pleased to announce two new scholarship opportunities for the incoming Business School freshman class.
The first scholarship opportunity is worth $250, with honorable mention prizes also available. It is being organized by the Junior class members of Beta Gamma Sigma, an International Honor Society of business students. In this competition, students are given a choice of six essay topics and they are asked to submit an essay that is no longer than two double spaced typed pages. The topics cover a variety of current issues as seen in books, movies and social networking, and must be submitted no later than August 17.
The mission of Beta Gamma Sigma is to encourage and honor academic achievement in the study of business and to foster personal and professional excellence. The winner of this competition will be invited to attend the Fall Beta Gamma Sigma Induction where they will be presented with their prize. This competition is a great way to earn scholarship money as well as an opportunity to learn more about the Beta Gamma Sigma society.

Our second scholarship opportunity is worth $1,000. This competition values creativity in addition to personal achievement. Incoming freshmen are asked to submit a video clip on "Why I Chose the Stillman School of Business at Seton Hall". The video should be between 1 and 3.5 minutes long and can be shot using any suitable technology. Footage of the University must be included in the video.
There will be a total score for the submission, which includes the student's resume and 1 page personal biography in addition to the video. The deadline for this is September 7, but in the case of equally competitive submissions, the prize will be awarded to the submission that was received first. There may be some honorable mention prizes as well.
