The Office of Financial Aid continuously seeks to help current students find new ways to fund their Seton Hall education. We are pleased to announce a new tool to help current students locate scholarship and grant dollars that might be available to them. Collaborating with several departments on campus, we developed a website with a searchable database of awards to help Seton Hall students. We will continue to add to the database as new awards become available – so check back often!
In addition, the Office of Financial Aid has a new process for students to identify themselves as seeking additional funds. Students will be asked to complete a scholarship consideration form. This form will help us match students to possible award opportunities. The form can be obtained on the forms section of the financial aid website, or at front counter of the Office of Financial Aid.
Students should be prepared to submit applications to multiple scholarship competitions. The database is a good place to start; however, there are other resources to consider, including The Ruth Sharkey Academic Resource Center and Disability Support Services. Consider also researching online, checking with the national organization to which you are member or even your local parish or church for additional opportunities. Remember that every scholarship competition is different. Please refer to the individual scholarship applications to determine the requirements and deadlines of each scholarship competition.
