In April, several David B. Gerstein scholarship recipients joined
Gerstein and Stillman School administrators for a special dinner at Giorgio's Ristorante in South Orange.
Thanks to Gerstein’s generosity, the scholarships were created in
2009, and are awarded annually to students with strong academic
performance, financial need, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
Ranging in amounts from $2,000 to $2,500, the scholarships have
enriched the lives of more than 20 Stillman School students to date.
Most recently, the 2012 recipients are Kenya Marie Carrero, John Alex Q.
Ceniza, Kay (Aknezumkpa) Ezeh, Anthony Benedict Katic, Christos Paizis,
Taseen Peterson, Russell Smith and Yusuf Yesil.
