Congratulations to Dr. Penina Orenstein, Assistant Professor in the Department of Computing and Decision Sciences and two of her students, Jay Shah and Alyson Nardi. Their joint paper has been recognized for its scholarly excellence and they have been chosen to present it at the prestigious INFORMS Management and Service Operations Management conference taking place in New York City in June.

With over 300 submissions this year, the conference committee had to narrow it down to fewer than 100 papers to be presented, and Dr. Orenstein's paper titled "Forecasting Stent Usage in a hospital supply chain to maintain a Competitive Advantage: An Empirical Approach" was one of those papers chosen. Congratulations, Dr. Orenstein, Jay and Aly for all of your efforts. This is quite an honor and we are very proud of you!
