Holy Lives, Holy Marriages Retreat Series Continues Seton Hall > News & Events Friday, December 9, 2011 by: Andrew Saunders The Catholic Center for Family Spirituality is proud to continue to bring its Holy Lives, Holy Marriages retreat series to parishes in the Jersey City and Morristown areas. The series was originally launched in the spring of 2011 at Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology, in advance of Pope John Paul II’s beatification in May and in commemoration of the sixth anniversary of his passing, with The Pilgrimage of Faith and Love of Mary and Joseph. The retreat focused on two of the Pope's favorite saints: Mary and Joseph.
Beginning in the fall of 2011, the Holy Lives, Holy Marriages retreat series went “on the road” to parishes in Jersey City and in Morristown. Due to the overwhelming popularity and success of the retreats, additional presentations have been scheduled for the winter and spring of 2012. This series will offer examples of how married couples are called to holiness through the sacrament of matrimony and examine the married spirituality of many of our greatest role models in faith.
