The School Psychology Leadership Association of Seton Hall (SPLASH) is hosting a gang awareness workshop presented by John (Jack) Farrell, LCSW on Tuesday, October 25 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Nursing Amphitheatre, Room 113.

During this presentation, participants will be introduced to:

  • The definitions of gangs according to NJ Statutes and specific gangs in NJ
  • An overview of gang violence and the behavioral trends
  • The response of the community and agencies regarding youth gang involvement and gang violence
  • Relevant intervention strategies and additional resources for schools and communities

Note: Full workshop attendance qualifies for 5 Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society Service Honor Stole Points.
