Basilo and Condon Named “Excellent Adjunct Professors”

The Stillman School of Business honored Thomas Basilo and Brian Condon with“Excellent Adjunct Professor” awards at the spring Integrity and Professionalism Scholarship Luncheon. To receive the award, an adjunct faculty member must have earned outstanding course evaluations in every class taught in each of the last five semesters.

Tom Basilo ’71, CPA, is an adjunct professor in the Department of Management and teaches graduate courses in entrepreneurship. He is also the office managing partner of WithumSmith+Brown’s Morristown, NJ location and the chief executive officer of WithumSmith+Brown Global Assurance LLC. A licensed certified public accountant, he has 40 years of experience assisting family-owned and closely-held businesses manage growth, cash flow and organizational restructuring.

Basilo serves as chairman of the board of advisors to the Stillman School Center for Entrepreneurial Studies and has been honored by Beta Gamma Sigma, Beta Alpha Psi and is the recipient of the 2008 “Many Are One Alumni Service” award by Stillman School of Business.

Brian Condon, M.B.A. ’95, is an adjunct professor in the Department of Computing and Decision Sciences and teaches courses in management information systems, telecommunications and computer fundamentals. He is also the director of administrative services in the Stillman School of Business.

Condon has received the Excellent Adjunct Professor Award each year since 2003.

The majority of Condon’s experience in the past 10 years has been working as either a dean of students or a director of education. His professional experience has been with organizations such as Star Career Academy, Berdan Institute, Gibbs College, The Chubb Institute and of course, Seton Hall University.

Condon has been named Outstanding Manager of the Year and received the Excellence in Retention Award from The Chubb Institute. In addition, he received the President’s Cup for Campus Leadership from Gibbs College.
