The Stillman School of Business is sponsoring two trips abroad over winter break, one to Egypt and one to Chile.
Studying in Egypt
From Cairo to Alexandria to the Red Sea, students will travel and
see one of the oldest civilizations in the world with Professor
Abdallah. Sitting in the heart of the Middle East with a growing and
rapidly transforming economy, Egypt is one of the most strategic trading
partners of the U.S. Students will meet with corporate leaders and
government officials and learn how this rapidly expanding economy
continues to grow despite the world recession.
Studying in Chile
Chile is a narrow ribbon of land stretching almost the length of the
west coast of South America and is wedged between the Andes Mountains
and the Pacific Ocean. Chile is the largest copper producer in the world
and has a diverse transparent economy and is regarded as the safest
economy in South America. Based in the capital city of Santiago,
students will hear from corporations, government officials and Americans
working in Chile on the evolution of business in the country.
