Eighth Annual "Careers in Sport"

On Thursday, March 29, the Seton Hall University Center for Sport Management will host the 8th annual “Careers in Sport.” This event is free and open to high school students, parents, teachers, and guidance counselors. It is the perfect opportunity for students to learn about the wide world of sports and how a business school education can prepare them for a career in sport management. Last year more than 300 attended.

The day will begin at 9 a.m. on the South Orange campus with refreshments in the Main Lounge of the Bishop Dougherty University Center.

Guest speakers include Rick Gentile, director of the Seton Hall Sports Poll Conducted by The Sharkey Institute; and Leonard Marshall, executive-in-residence, Department of Management, and former NFL defensive lineman.

In addition, current management students and alumni will speak about their experiences in Seton Hall University’s sport management program.

Following the main event, there will be a campus tour.
