Physics Students Awarded Research Internships & Fellowships

Matter and EnergyThe Department of Physics students were awarded summer research internships and fellowships at prestigious research centers.

Michael Newby '12 has been awarded a summer research internship at Princeton University, National Science Foundation-Research Experience for Undergraduates (NSF-REU) program and a New Jersey Space Grant Consortium (NJSGC) Summer Fellowship. He will conduct solar cell synthesis and characterization research in Dr. M. Alper Sahiner's Laboratory at Seton Hall University for the NJSGC Fellowship.

Andrew Klump '13 has been awarded a summer research internship at Harvard University, National Science Foundation-Research Experience for Undergraduates (NSF-REU) program.

Samuel Emery '11 has been awarded a summer research internship at Department of Defense, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.
