Michael Reuter Named Stillman School Teacher of the Year
On March 16, the Stillman School of Business held its annual Integrity and Professionalism Scholarship Luncheon. At the luncheon, Michael Reuter, M.B.A., an instructor in the Department of Management and director of the Center for Leadership Development, was awarded the Alpha Kappa Psi - Teacher of the Year Award.Alpha Kappa Psi is a professional business fraternity that strives to develop the professionalism of students. For the past few years, Alpha Kappa Psi has held an annual poll to recognize the Stillman Professor of the Year. Stillman students are asked to vote for the professor that they believe is most deserving of this award.
Phylicia Hill, president, Alpha Kappa Psi, Gamma Pi Chapter, presented Reuter with the award. Her remarks are below.
This year, Stillman students voted for Professor Michael Reuter. Professor Reuter is a professor of Management and the Director of the Center for Leadership Development. He is well known throughout the Stillman community and Seton Hall University for his willingness to lend a helping hand and his sincere, caring nature. He has also been a source of guidance and knowledge and provides support and motivation to many Stillman students.
So on behalf of the Stillman School of Business and Alpha Kappa Psi, I am pleased to recognize Professor Michael Reuter as the 2009-2010 Stillman Professor of the Year.
