Yin Advances U.S.-China Relations
Seton Hall > News & Events

Jason Yin, Ph.D., chair of the Department of Management and professor of strategic management and international business, has been invited to join the National Committee on United States–China Relations.

Founded in 1966, the national committee is the leading non-partisan public affairs organization devoted exclusively to improving understanding and building relationships between the United States and China. The committee began conducting exchanges in 1972 when it sponsored the historic visit of the Chinese table tennis team.

By joining the committee, Yin will add his name to that of more than 700 prominent Americans who have an interest in one of the world’s most important and challenging bilateral relationships.

In addition to teaching, Yin frequently organizes and presents lectures to various business executive training programs both in the U.S. and in China. He also holds a visiting professorship to several leading universities in China and has often played a key role in helping Stillman and Seton Hall University develop alliances with educational institutions in China.

Yin frequently publishes articles in leading research and professional periodicals. His most recent publication is a chapter titled, “China in the Antidumping War Against China,” which appears in the book The Chinese Economy After WTO.

He received a Ph.D. in strategic management and international business, an M.B.A. and a master of philosophy from New York University. Prior to that, Yin received his B.S. in mechanical engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China and worked as a mechanical engineer for eight years before he moved to the U.S. in 1981.
