ELMP Professor Appointed to International Advisory Board

StetarJoseph Stetar, Professor in the Department of Education Leadership, Management and Policy has been appointed to a 3 year term to the International Advisory Board (IAB) of the University of The Free State (UFS) in South Africa. The Board will advise the university on its efforts to enhance its international profile. Also on the IAB are faculty and administrators from: Cornell University, Ghent University (Belgium), United Nations University (Tokyo) as well as the Chairperson of Impala Platinum Holdings Limited and a Director of Evalnet (Pty) Ltd. The Board held its initial meetings in South Africa in November. Enrolling more than 28,000 students the University of the Free State is one of South Africa's comprehensive national research universities. In addition to serving on the IAB, Prof. Stetar received a honorary doctorate from the UFS in 2002 where he also serves as a Professor Honorarius.
