The Seton Hall United Nations Association (SHUNA) delegation returned victorious from the prestigious 32nd annual Security Council Simulations at Yale (SCSY).
SCSY is a collegiate level Model United Nations conference which specializes in crisis simulations. This year over 350 delegates from 30 different schools, national and international competed. Some of the most notable competitors included George Washington University, Brown University, University of Pennsylvania and Stanford University.
Between October 29 and November 1, the members of SHUNA participated in rigorous debate on topics ranging from the Falklands Crisis to the colonization of the New World. Individual efforts by Marco Alberti, Renee Callender, Victoria Maxwell and Milan Stanic earned Honorable Mentions, while David Millar earned a Best Delegate award.
The team was also recognized with the Outstanding Large Delegation award for their hard work and contribution to the debate. The only higher honor for a large delegation was awarded to Georgetown University as Best Delegation.
SHUNA is an award winning collegiate level Model United Nations team that travels to conferences throughout the United States of America debating against other Universities on international relations topics.
