Conference: "New Directions in Museum Ethics"

The Institute of Museum Ethics is pleased to present the International Conference of Graduate Student Research, "New Directions in Museum Ethics" on Saturday, November 14 in the Science and Technology Building. 
 
The conference will present speakers discussing the challenges and opportunities of the social, economic, political and technological trends in museum ethics and the changing roles and responsibilities of museum professionals. 
 
Glenn Wharton is the keynote speaker, conservator at the Museum of Modern Art and Research Scholar at New York University Museum Studies and the Institute of Fine Arts Conservation Center.  His talk is entitled "Expanding Representation in Conservation: From Hawaiian Public Sculpture to Media Installations at MoMA." 
 
The conference is open to all Seton Hall University students and faculty free of charge. It begins at 8:30 a.m. with registration and a continental breakfast.
