On Thursday, November 12, at 6 p.m. in Fahy 236 Slavic Club members and guests will mark the 20th anniversary of one of the most significant historical events of our times - the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Professor Maxim Matusevich will deliver a short presentation, interspersed with images and documentary film footage, outlining the story of the wall’s construction and its eventual razing in November 1989. Needless to say, Pink Floyd music will be played and plentiful Slavic refreshments served.

Free and open to the public. Do come and share your memories of that remarkable autumn of 1989!
