The Stillman Exchange, the official business publication of Seton Hall University, has reached a new milestone with the debut of their first bilingual edition.
On Wednesday, October 21, 2009, The Stillman Exchange released its first abridged four-page special edition written in both English and Chinese. "The articles are written by our exchange students that are enrolled in the "1+2" UIBE-SHU MBA program," stated Gerardo Pecoraro, managing editor of The Exchange, "These students traveled from the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, China here to the United States to study for two years at the Stillman School of Business".
The special edition will be enjoyed here on the South Orange campus as well as in Beijing, China on the campus of the University of International Business and Economics. "This special edition is a great opportunity for all the exchange students, like me, to show our friends and family at home what we are learning and doing here in the United States," reflected Herbert Chao Xu, an MBA student enrolled in the UIBE-SHU exchange program.
This special edition will be published multiple times throughout the academic year. According to Gerardo Pecoraro, "We believe that by doing so, our newspaper will provide our exchange students a vehicle in which they can enhance their technical and analytical stills and gain a richer experience from the School". 123 To see the October 21, 2009 Special Edition online, click here.
