Dr. Richard Celeste, Director of the Somerset Regional Police Academy of Somerset County, NJ and nationally recognized expert on the use of force, will be presenting on the issue of use of force by law enforcement personnel. Issues to be discussed will be when it is appropriate to use force in arresting a suspect and what types of force to use. What is reasonable force and what is unreasonable force?
The presentation will take place on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. in Arts and Sciences Hall Room 107.
