School of Health and Medical Sciences Award Clinical Grants Seton Hall > News & Events Monday, September 21, 2009 by: Mary E. Murray, MA, ATC In August 2009, The School of Health and Medical Sciences awarded the first series of Clinical Education and Research Partnership Grants to affiliated clinical sites. The purpose of the grants is to enhance the collaboration between the academic and clinical components of the professional programs within the School. For the 2009-2010 fiscal year, Palisades Medical Center, University Hospital-UMDNJ, The Children's Therapy Center, and PG Chambers School were chosen to receive grants. On August 12, 2009, the winners were invited to a reception on campus to be recognized and to receive their awards. Grant winners will be invited back to campus this Fall to provide an update of their projects. The winning projects were:
- Post-Rehabilitation Stroke Suport Initiative at Palisades Medical Center.
- Stroke Support Group at University Hospital- UMDNJ.
- Equipment Grant for Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy Services for Children at the Children's Therapy Center.
- Collaborative Internship Project for Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology Graduate Students.
