Ivan Toro has accepted a prestigious position with Brown-Forman and Excelsior Galaxy to work in merchandising and brand management. Ivan Toro graduated in May with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration concentrating in Management and a minor in International Business concentrating in Latin American Studies. While his hometown is now Richmond, Virginia, Ivan Toro was born and raised in Puerto Rico. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
During his four years at Seton Hall, Ivan participated in many clubs and organizations most recently being the co-founder and director of member relations for the ALPFA Seton Hall Chapter. In June of 2008, he received one of only two positions for State Farm’s summer intern competition and continued on to lead his teams to a second place finish in the northeast marketing competition. As the company's first intern, Mr. Toro contributed to the launch of Chef’s Coffee Company- a successful super-premium coffee company based out of Whippany, New Jersey in November of 2007. Ivan Toro also received one of the 2009 Experiential Education Student Awards.
