The Stillman School Institute for International Business fosters the collaboration of all faculty, graduate and undergraduate students to engage in a wide variety of activities and projects to advance the internationalization of Stillman. The Institute is a crucial part ofthe mission of the University and of the School in accepting the challenges of globalization in the 21st century.

Stillman faculty who are advancing that mission and accepting that challenge are the recipients of the 2006-07 Institute for International Business supplementary research and travel awards. A total of $25,000was awarded to the following faculty fellows:

Sung Shim, Ph.D., associate professor

Department of Finance and Legal Studies
Richard J. Hunter Jr., M.A., J.D., professor
Tony Loviscek, Ph.D., associate professor and chair
Eleanor Xu, Ph.D., associate professor
Yeomin Yoon, Ph.D., professor

Department of Management
Amar D. Amar, Ph.D., professor
Joan Coll, Ph.D., professor
Larry McCarthy, Ph.D., associate professor
Jason Yin, M.B.A., Ph.D., professor and chair

Department of Marketing
Gary Kritz, Ph.D., assistant professor

Awardees are expected to:
• report on their paper at a future meeting of the Institute;
• give appropriate credit on the paper to the assistance of the Institute;
• provide a copy of the paper or presentation to the Institute;
• move papers to the full publication stage in a refereed journal within two academic years from the beginning of the academic year for which the award is granted; and
• cooperate in posting research in the International Business Working Paper Series.
