A delegation of nine Imams and mayors from Iraq have been invited to the United States under the auspices of the Department of State's International Visitor Leadership Program. The Whitehead School of Diplomacy and International Relations at Seton Hall University has the distinct honor of being one of only two institutions of higher education the delegation will visit on its tour.

While on campus on Wednesday, April 1, the delegation will meet with renowned practitioners and scholars to examine the separation of church and state; the core values of individual freedom of conviction, expression and worship in U.S. society; the role of faith-based organizations and ecumenical groups in American civic and community life; and the importance of dialogue among various faith groups within a community.
