Mayor Booker took the oath of office to lead New Jersey's largest city in July 2006, following a sweeping electoral victory. He is only the third person to govern the city since 1970. He has received much acclaim, including being named one of the nations “best and brightest” by Esquire magazine.

Kocsi is responsible for directing the SBA's efforts to assist the 779,000 small businesses in New Jersey with the agency's financial and business development programs. Under his leadership, this office has consistently provided record levels of support to New Jersey's small business owners.
