Nominations being accepted for Japanese Study Award

 The Japanese Program of the Department of Asian Studies at Seton Hall University is pleased to announce the 2009 New Jersey Japanese Language Study Awards for High School Students. These awards provide an opportunity to recognize students in Japanese language study in New Jersey. 
 
The Japanese Program will announce the names of these students to recognize their Japanese studies during Japan Week 2009 scheduled for March 30-April 3. Awardees will be notified by March 10, 2009 and will be expected to attend the award ceremony on Friday, April 3, 2009. If a recipient is not able to attend the award ceremony, then the plaque and prizes will be mailed to the high school.
 
Each school is allowed to nominate up to two students. Please submit an Application Form with an endorsement of the Japanese Language teacher/supervisor, and submit to: Dr. Shigeru Osuka, Director, Japanese Program, Department of Asian Studies, Seton Hall University, 400 South Orange Avenue, South Orange, NJ 07079.
