hosting a luncheon to kick off a joint program with the Sports
Leadership Academy at Dwight Morrow High School located in Englewood,
N.J.
Former N.Y. Jets running back, Bruce Harper, a graduate of Dwight
Morrow High School, will serve as the keynote speaker.
Date: Tuesday, December 2
Time: 12:30 p.m.
Location: Jubilee Hall Atrium, 4th Floor
Harper, the all-time kick-returner in Jets history with 5,407 yards,
was the running back and kick returner for the Jets from 1977-85. He
led the NFL with more than 2,000 all-purpose yards for two consecutive
years, and he led the AFC in the same category for four years. He was
voted the Jets MVP in 1980, was a two-time Pro Bowl alternate, and held
nine Jets records at one time. Several of those records stand today.
The event is open to the Seton Hall University community.
