Managing Your Career Change
Seton Hall > News & Events

In celebration of National Career Development Month in November, The Career Center is offering a free workshop to all Alumni on November 18 from 4:30-6:00 PM: Managing Your Career Change.

Is a career change possible in today's economy?
Making a career change can be unsettling, even in the best of times. That's why it's more important than ever to be in charge of your own career, as no job comes with a guarantee. Changing one's career takes guts, great research skills, planning and simply 'putting yourself out there.'

Topics of discussion include:

  • career management lifecycle
  • networking
  • effective use of the internet
  • job searching strategies in a bear market

Space is limited - RSVP required; contact: Andrea Garrido at garridaa@shu.edu or (973) 761-9355.
