You are cordially invited to attend the second lecture of the SHMS Alumni Lecture Series. Don Scott Matthews, O.T., M.S. '05, will deliver the lecture, "Translating Post-Professional Education into Clinical Practice and Leadership Roles." An interdisciplinary panel of health care professionals enrolled in the G.P.H.S. Ph.D. program providing commentary. Matthews is the director of Intensive Therapeutics, Inc.

The lecture will cover:

  • How the academic and clinical training received through the GPHS program helped Mr. Matthews develop the therapy programs at Intensive Therapeutics Inc.
  • How the evidence-based coursework in GPHS provided a theoretical foundation for the Camp Helping Hands, Mini Camp Helping Hands, Camp Leaps and Bounds therapy programs.
