Join Richard Hunter, professor of finance and legal studies on a
trip to Poland. This trip is also sponsored by the Asbury Park
Historical Society.
Trip dates are Wednesday, May 13 to Saturday, May 23, 2009. Travel to
Warsaw, Czestochowa, Zakopane, Krakow, Wieliczka, Auschwitz and
Wadowice. Visit the Royal Castle, Zamek, the Jewish Ghetto Memorial and
St. John's Cathedral in Warsaw.
In Czestochowa visit the Shrine of the Black Madonna or the Jasna Gora
Monastery and raft down the Dunajec River at Pieniny National Park in
Zakopane. Cost is approximately $2995 per person (including flight,
hotel, some tours, transportation and some meals). Final cost will be
determined by December 1, 2008.
