Jack Kent and Project Jazz
St. Louis Rhythm & Blues and Jazz artist Jack Kent, and New York jazz pianist, Ray Kennedy will perform in Seton Hall University's Jazz `n the Hall series at the South Orange Performing Arts Center (SOPAC) on Tuesday, April 1, at 7:30 p.m.
Kennedy, described by the New York Times as “an extraordinary pianist whose style suggests a toned down fusion of Erroll Garner and Oscar Peterson with a dash of George Shearing,” will perform with featured artists Gary Keller on tenor saxophone, Joe Ascione on drums, Tom Kennedy on bass, and Joe Cohn on guitar.
