The Great Spiritual Books online graduate certificate program of Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology introduces great spiritual literature from various Christian (Catholic, Orthodox and Protestant) traditions. It fosters friendship and spiritual adventure, and applies the gems of Christian spirituality to various forms of ministry, religious, family and professional life.
Great Spiritual Books is a 21-credit certificate program that runs 16 months. All credits may also be applied toward a Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry, and most toward a Master of Arts in Theology. Scholarships may be available.
The program's challenging and unique curriculum includes the following seven required courses:

- Spirituality of the Old Testament
- Synoptic Gospels or Introduction to Johannine and Pauline Literature
- Rules for a Holy Life: Introduction to Christian Spirituality

- Great Spiritual Biographies
- Capstone: Great Spiritual Books and Modern Self-Help Literature
