Seton Hall University has been nationally recognized as a Bronze Medal School of Distinction by BestColleges.com, a leading provider of independent higher education rankings and college planning guides. Through three tiers of recognition, the Schools of Distinction award seeks to feature colleges and universities leading the way in online education learning. In the United States, 2,152 higher education institutions offer accredited online academic programs for students. Over 900 of these institutions are represented on BestColleges.com’s rankings due to their academic quality, affordability, and online learning outcomes. Schools awarded a bronze-level distinction have online programs featured on five to nine separate BestColleges.com rankings. Three of Seton Hall’s five top ranked programs are in the College of Education and Human Services.
The Online Master of Arts programs in Counseling, School Counseling, and Educational Leadership, Management & Policy were all awarded individual distinctions during the 2017 academic year. These programs stand among some of the best in the country for sustaining excellence in multiple categories according to statistical information gathered from a variety of sources, including the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) and College Navigator, both of which are hosted by the National Center for Education Statistics.
“Online learning continues to grow more prominent in the United States with many higher education institutions offering programs to accommodate the expectations and needs of today’s students.
