Candidates for the Master of Arts in Strategic Communication program complete 36 graduate-level credits to satisfy degree requirements. The curriculum includes a 9-credit program core, 6-credit thesis-related sequence, plus an additional 21 credits of relevant, elective courses.
Students select courses each semester in consultation with his/her advisor and recommended study plan. Communication Research (COTC 7110) can only be taken following the completion of 18 earned credits and is a prerequisite for Master's Project (COMM 8190).
