Goals 

  • Biochemistry majors will be prepared with the knowledge and skills to competitively enter industry and top-tier graduate and medical schools.
  • Students will have the necessary fundamental knowledge and skills to perform high-level laboratory research in biochemistry, chemical biology and allied disciplines.
  • Students will have the critical thinking, writing and presentation skills necessary to effectively analyze and report scientific findings.
