Fourth Faculty Retreat
Authenticity and Prayer: Sustenance for Personal and Professional LifeMarch 31, 2014
Directed by Dr. Julie Burkey
Teresa of Avila said, “Authentic prayer changes us - unmasks us…”
Prayer is the key to achieving authenticity in the spiritual life - and
all of life. Taking examples from Celtic prayer and the prayer life of
several saints, we will discuss how authentic prayer can center us,
while helping us to become authentically who we are in both our personal
and professional lives.
