The mission of the Community FoodBank of NJ is to fight hunger and poverty in New Jersey by assisting those in need and seeking long term solutions. The FoodBank distributes over 23 million pounds of food and groceries a year, ultimately serving 1,656 non-profit; through their combined efforts, they assist three-quarters of a million low-income people in 18 of New Jersey’s 21 counties.
Volunteers at the FoodBank work in a warehouse setting to sort donated goods.
