The Career Center manages a large and diverse internship program and works closely with employers to ensure a quality experience for our students. In the National Survey for Student Engagement, Seton Hall students gave the University high marks for providing a collaborative learning environment and experiential-based learning opportunities.
Internships are a highly valued form of career-based learning at Seton Hall. These invaluable career preparation experiences provide students with the opportunity to develop key competencies, gain confidence in their career decisions, and begin to create a professional network. The Career Center manages a large and diverse internship program and works closely with employers to ensure a quality experience for our students. (The School of Diplomacy manages a required internship within the School.)
Find an Internship
To find an internship, we recommend several strategies: attend networking events and career fairs, tap into personal networks, and utilize Navigator, The Career Center’s primary career management database. All SHU students can access Navigator through PirateNet.
The Internship Tutorial is available to all students and is accessible via PirateNet. The tutorial provides students with an overview of expectations, required forms and "tips" to help students navigate their new work environments.
The Career Center provided guidance on my resume, helped me apply for internships and professional employment opportunities, and coached me on how to dress and act on an interview. I knew that I could call on the Career Center at any time.

Experiential Education Awards
