The Seton Hall Sports Poll is the only student run polling center in the nation. It is used to gauge the public pulse and opinion on current issues in the sports world—a multi-billion dollar industry. With the help of other experts from the Stillman School of Business, the Center for Sport Management and a host of outside consultants from the polling community, the Seton Hall Sport Poll has achieved a tremendous amount of national exposure. ESPN, Bloomberg News, Sports Illustrated, the Associated Press, CNBC, PBS, and a plethora of newspapers, radio stations, and business journals have all featured poll results.

Rick GentileThe Poll is directed by Rick Gentile – a 10 time Emmy Award winner for his work as executive producer and senior vice president of CBS Sports.

The polls take place at the sports polling center on the 5th floor in Jubilee Hall Room 541. Students will be required to submit pay documentation if interested in employment.

As a student worker in the sport poll, the primary task will be to call adults across the nation to gather their opinions on current issues in the industry. Food is provided during the poll each night and shifts can be broken up to fit into your schedule. Given the feedback they receive when polling, student pollsters will also be encouraged to submit what they think will be interesting potential questions for future polls.

The shifts each night are split into three timeframes: 4 - 6 p.m., 6 - 8:30 p.m., and 8:30 - 11 p.m.
