JP Morgan Chase
Steve Karl has held senior leadership roles with some of the great national brand companies, such as American Express Company, Dun & Bradstreet Company, and JP Morgan Chase. His roles have been large, global responsibilities across business operations and information technology disciplines, with common themes of transformation. Most recently, he has served as Managing Director, leading Customer Experience and Process Improvement teams across the mortgage banking business.
Prior to joining JP Morgan Chase, Steve led Global Customer and Data Operations for Dun & Bradstreet Company. As a member of the global leadership team, he also led the company's largest strategic technology investment, distressed at the time, through a critical turnaround, leveraging his extensive business and information technology background to successfully rebuild the program and the team.
Steve's 20-year career with American Express Company was spent leading a variety of senior, global, operations and information technology, and quality/reengineering. Additionally, he built a consultancy practice that provided IT executive and BPO advisory services, in alliance with Towers Perrin, to companies in a variety of industries, including chemical companies, consumer food products and pharmaceutical companies.
Steve holds a B.S. in accounting from the Stillman School of Business, and he continues to serve Seton Hall in a number of ways, including a continuing role on the University's President's Advisory Group.
