William Staats '76

President
Bill is currently a managing director and private client advisor at US Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management, Bank of America Investment Services, Inc. in Princeton, N.J. He has held various Board positions and most recently laid out a fiscal plan for the Board of Directors. Bill resides in Annandale, N.J. with his wife Maryjane ’76 and their three children, one of which is attending Seton Hall.

Assad Akhter '03 is currently the Deputy Chief of Staff for Congressman Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-NJ). In this capacity he is directly responsible for managing the local district offices and staff for the 9th Congressional District of New Jersey. Before this assignment, Assad served as the Legislative Director in the Washington, DC office where he oversaw the Congressman’s legislative agenda and staff as he was tasked with coordinating the Congressman’s position on the House Ways & Means Committee as well as staffing his assignment on the House Homeland Security Committee. Apart from his official legislative duties, Assad is a co-founder and past President of the Congressional Muslim Staff Association (CMSA).

Laurianne is the author and presenter of National-Award- Winning Education Programs. She is the Character Education Coordinator and a Language Arts teacher at Memorial Middle School in Fair Lawn, NJ. Laurianne is also an adjunct professor at Seton Hall, a Curriculum Consultant, and a presenter for the National Character Education Partnership, “CharacterPlus,” NJEA, Kappa Delta Pi, the NJ Association of Middle Level Education and the NJ Alliance for Social-Emotional and Character Development.

Kimberly is a labor and employment law attorney with Archer & Greiner, P.C. in Hackensack. Her broad range of experience includes nationwide representation of employers in wage and hour matters, injunctions and employment discrimination claims involving sex, race, age, religion or handicap. She has served on various committees at the University and Seton Hall Law. She and her husband, Juan Trillo, J.D. ’01, live in Jersey City.

Jane DeTullio served as a full-time instructor in the English department of Monmouth University and as director of the University's Writing Center. She has her own business, JD Wordsmith LLC, where she writes articles, press releases, and web pages on a freelance basis. She also edits manuscripts, dissertations, business plans, proposal memoranda, and assists students with college application essays for undergraduate and graduate school admission.

Ryan is a wealth management advisor and assistant vice president at Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. Ryan has held various positions on the Alumni Board and is now handling the alumni scorecard which keeps track of the progress and goals of each board member throughout the year. He resides in Livingston, N.J. with his wife Susan and their son.

Angelina currently serves on the Alumni Board as a liaison to the College of Education and Human Services. She works as an elementary school principal in Morris County. Angelina is President-Elect of the New Jersey Principals and Supervisors Association and is also NJ’s State Representative to the National Association of Elementary School Principals.

Ryan graduated in 2011 with a dual degree in Sports Management and Finance. Upon graduating, he chose to pursue a career in retail management, and is currently an Assistant Store Manager with Kohl's Department Stores. Ryan resides in Vernon, NJ, and serves as both the liaison between the Alumni Board and Student Alumni Association, and the co-chair of the Young Alumni Committee.

Cristin is currently employed as an Account Executive with Coyne PR, a full service public relations agency based in Parsippany. Outside of work she is an active member of New York Women in Communications, a non-profit association whose members represent major players and contributors to the communications industry. Cristin currently resides in Morristown and serves as a liason between the Alumni Board and the Student Alumni Association. She holds a B.A. in Communication from Seton Hall.

Cynthia is the Senior Manager of Business Operations at Booz & Company (N.A.) in Parsippany, NJ. She works closely with the partner leads of two global market teams to execute the teams strategic agenda and manage the business profitably. Having been with Booz & Co. for her entire career, Cynthia has held various positions in the firm, including Senior Manager of Strategic Planning & Analysis, Manager of MBA Recruitment and Senior Financial Analyst. She is experienced in leading and motivating teams and managing staff and has a solid background in the development and delivery of high impact deliverables leveraging a wide range of business skills and proficiencies. Cynthia currently resides in Montclair with her husband Rich and their two children, Ethan and Eva.

Tiffany is the Marketing & Communications Specialist for the New Jersey Redevelopment Authority.  She is a former manager for the Seton Hall Men’s Basketball Team.  She is currently a member of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, as well as a small business owner. Tiffany resides in Somerset, NJ.

Dan is senior vice president and COO of the CentraState Healthcare System. He is a licensed nursing home administrator and also serves as an adjunct professor in the Center for Public Service at Seton Hall. He resides in Staten Island, N.Y.

Susan is a Senior Director of Client Service for Resources Global Professionals (RGP). Prior to joining RGP, Susan held leadership positions in internal audit with several F1000 companies. Since 2008, she has been a member of the Seton Hall Leadership Development Council for the Stillman School of Business and has been actively involved in the mentoring program. Susan resides in Florham Park, NJ with her husband, Clyde.

Dawn Mueller has extensive experience in marketing, professional services, and life sciences. She currently works for Deloitte Services LLP as the Consulting Sector Marketing Leader for Life Sciences. Dawn worked for KPMG/BearingPoint where she served in numerous roles including promotions and events, industry marketing, alliance marketing with a concentration on ERP vendors, and solutions marketing. Her background also includes CSC where Dawn was charged with leading the marketing effort for their Global Health Services business unit, and Porzio, Bromberg & Newman, a law firm specializing in pharmaceutical defense work and an image intelligence software company targeting life sciences and medical imaging industry segments.

Sharon Seitzman is president of QualCare, Inc. Prior to her current position, Sharon held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at QualCare. In that role she was responsible for daily operations of Human Resources, Medical Management, Claims, Customer Service and Client Services. She joined QualCare in 1999, as the Vice President of HMO Operations. Ms. Seitzman holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Seton Hall University.

Michaela is currently a senior in the Occupational Therapy Dual Degree Program working on her graduate studies. Before becoming president of the Student Alumni Association, Michaela was a team leader and the director of member relations who worked closely with the executive board of the association. Michaela is also a Hall Caller for the Seton Hall Fund and a member of the Student Occupational Therapy Association. She is from Brick, New Jersey.
